The gardeners finally got our fence up.  It is made from old pallets and is cool.  We will stain and weather proof it sometime soon.  Seeing it makes me want to stop revising my dissertation and get out there and plant.  I would also like to patch the two areas where we only have some grass.  That is what I’d prefer to be doing with my Easter Sunday.

The lock is still not done

We have a pretty cool backyard at this point.  Last fall, I pruned with a pole saw the apple tree in the other corner of the yard, and this corner has a garden area and a non-fruit tree.  We are planning on having a pumpkin patch and a few vegetables this year and will expand our growing next year.  I’d love to be working in the garden with my partner this day, but instead, I must write and revise.
